Methodist Jennie Edmundson Medical Plaza

The Methodist Jennie Edmundson Medical Plaza is a project that not only transformed the Jennie Edmundson Campus, but transformed a centralized intersection of the city of Council Bluffs. The project was first started in the summer of 2018 with the construction of a soil nail retaining wall and two new staff parking lots in order to open up the current lot for demolition. The three stories of this building are approximately 20,000 SF each and the first two were finished for Methodist Physicians Clinic. The 3rd floor has 4,500 SF finished for Midwest Gastrointestinal Clinic and Infusion and the remainder of the 3rd floor has been left as a shell space for future expansion. This building features a stone facade, highlighted with a full height metal panel feature wall and full height curtain wall system. The first floor serves as a family practice with 36 exam/treatment rooms, an X-Ray suite and three centralized nurse stations. The second floor is Women’s Services and includes a peri-natal suite as well as a stand-alone imaging suite. 28 exam/treatment rooms, 5 ultrasound rooms, a dexa room, mammography room and four centralized nurse stations equip the staff on second floor to manage all functions of the space.
