Spurgeon Manor

In 2013, Graham Construction teamed with Spurgeon Manor to build a 32-unit addition to the existing Spurgeon Manor campus. This addition was set up as two distinct communities of 16 units separated by an exterior courtyard. One community is a memory care unit and the other is for skilled nursing. The two communities are connected to each other as well as the existing facility. They each have a common gathering space that includes a warming kitchen, dining area, lounge and game area. A Variable Refrigerant Flow (VRF) mechanical system was used for a high level of resident comfort and control. A new kitchen and maintenance garage addition was also included in the project.

Since completion of this project, we have continued to work with Spurgeon Manor on a dining room renovation and renovation of their Stine Center which is a rehabilitation wing. We have also recently worked with Spurgeon Manor and Shive Hattery to develop a master plan for future growth that includes independent and assisted living.
