Iowa Methodist Medical Center Surgery Center Remodel

The Iowa Methodist Medical Center Surgery/Cardio Vascular Services Remodel and Addition Project is one of the most challenging projects ever undertaken by Iowa Methodist Medical Center. They selected Graham Construction as Construction Manager for the project because of their long relationship with the hospital and their unmatched experience in healthcare construction. This project consists of a 20,400 square foot addition along with 76,800 square feet of renovation. The project expanded and renovated, outpatient surgery, pre-op, post-op, PACU and the cath lab, while also renovating two existing operating rooms and adding one more. The project was completed in five phases to minimize disruption and allow the hospital to be fully operational at all times. Because these areas are the most sensitive areas in the hospital, Graham worked hand in hand with Iowa Methodist Medical Center to employ the most stringent infection control and risk assessment methods possible to ensure absolute patient safety.
