The Lauridsen Group, Inc. Lab/Office Building

The LGI Lab/Office Building gave Graham Construction an opportunity to work with two excellent long term customers in the Lauridsen Group, Inc (LGI) and Pioneer Hi-Bred International. In 2003, Graham completed a 35 acre office park development for LGI as well as a 27,000 square foot office building for LGI’s subsidiary, APC Company. When Graham’s long time customer Pioneer Hi-Bred was looking for additional space for their Regulatory Science group, LGI and Graham teamed up to develop and build a single tenant build to suit facility in the LGI Business Park. This Lab/Office building is a 60,000 SF single story L-shaped building with approximately 27,500 SF of laboratory space. The lab has a unique flexible design that allows each lab to be reconfigured very easily, as well as a large freezer, cooler and eight large growth chambers to simulate a variety of growing conditions for corn experiments. The office has room for 200 open space offices, a large conference center as well as smaller ‘Huddle Rooms”, and a large dining area with a spectacular view.
