Graham Construction was selected as the Construction Manager for the Crawford County Memorial Hospital Replacement Project because of their Healthcare construction experience and their knowledge of the special needs of Critical Access Hospitals. This project consists of a new 79,100 square foot replacement hospital connected to a 15,700 square foot medical office building on a new Greenfield site on the west edge of town. The hospital will feature twenty-five private patient rooms including two LDRP’s, two state of the art surgery suites with an endoscopy procedure room, as well as an Imaging Department with an MRI and CT Scan. Replacing the hospital was determined to be more cost effective then trying to renovate the existing hospital because it was aging, out-dated and would have required extensive infrastructure upgrades. It was also landlocked which would have made adding additional space difficult and expensive. The new facility will be much more efficient to operate and will be a huge asset to the community.
