Graham Constrution was selected as the Construction Manager for the Drake University Olmsted Center renovation in January of 2003. The challenge for the team was to quickly design, estimate, and value engineer the project to meet a very demanding schedule. The project consisted of a partial lower level office remodel, an extensive student center remodel on first floor and fire sprinkler installation on second floor. The lower level office remodel began in March and was completed prior to the end of the school year in May. The remainder of the project then had to be completed over summer break. The students returned to school in August to be greeted by a newly completed, high tech student center that is drawing rave reviews.
