Ringgold County Hospital was faced with the same dilemma that many Critical Access Hospitals are facing. How do they continue to provide quality healthcare to their communities while dealing with an aging, outdated facility? After reviewing their options they determined that replacing the existing facility with a new state of the art efficient hospital was the most practical solution. Graham Construction was selected as the Construction Manager for the Ringgold County Hospital Replacement Project because of their Healthcare construction experience and their knowledge of the special needs of Critical Access Hospitals. This project consists of a new 62,000 square foot replacement hospital which includes 14,800 square feet of outpatient and specialty clinics. The hospital is located on a new Greenfield site on the east edge of town. The hospital includes fourteen private patient rooms and two special care rooms. The patient rooms were constructed using Wellness Environments modular patient rooms. The project also includes one state of the art surgery suite with an endoscopy procedure room, as well as an Imaging Department with a CT Scan and a mobile MRI.
