When Pella Regional Health Center made the decision to undertake the largest capital improvement project in their history, they turned to Graham Construction because of their healthcare construction experience. The $35 million project was completed in multiple phases over a three year timeframe. The project consists of a 91,300 SF three level addition including a new Emergency Department, Front Entry and Imaging along with 21 new Med/Surg rooms and 4 new ICU rooms. Also included is a 15,000 SF rooftop addition on the existing clinic building to house additional exam rooms and doctor’s offices. The balance of the project consists of 33,000 SF of phased renovation work including Dietary, Surgery, Pre-Op & Post-Op, Pharmacy, Infusion Therapy and Long Term Care.
